LAST FITNESS TEST OF THE YEAR

I REACHED MY GOAL !!  It was really hard and almost didnt make it, but i did it. My fitness levels have gone a long way, which is awesome. It really proves my growth in the class. I had to really push myself today which, was hard. I was really proud of my accomplishments today and I really hope my levels in PE 10 will keep going up. Some of my scores have stayed the same and I am still working on those, but I am really happy I did not decrease in any of my tests.

BEEP TEST : 6.0
FLEXABILITY: level 2

Body Brdge: 45
Balance: 9

FINAL P.E. BLOG POST

Participation:
From September to now I think this is one of the main points I have improved on. I bring my gym strip to class every day and a proper change of clothes. I’m pretty good when it comes to having my PE strip and I never really needed to be reminded. When it comes to being in class on time I am also pretty good at that, I’m rarely late to PE, because I have no reason to be I have it right after lunch. Attendance wise I am always present (unless I am sick or something of course) and I have never skipped PE without a proper excuse. Yes, I’ve always been good at bringing a change of clothes and being on time, but my intensity of participation has really grown since September. For the first 2 months or so of the school year, I will admit I did not put my all into a lot of activities and that shows in this blog. I think since then I really have changed in this category and do participate as much as I can with most of the activities we do. I’ve learned to have fun with physical education and even if my skill level is not great, to still try my best. Of course on some days are not perfect, but when I do have bad days where I don’t feel like participating I learned that no one can really force me to do the activities, but I do them because I know it is good for me and that I am the only one who can really make PE class fun if I set my mind to it. I am never really reminded to work hard, because I believe I do on most days, especially now. On choice days my motivation to choose a certain game is the people. I surround myself with positive people especially on certain choice days I may not like. My recent post about “Formation X” is a good example, because I got a lot out of that game from getting a physical work out to also having a lot of fun with other people and my participation and activity level were really high that day, because I really did feel like I helped my team. Overall I would give myself a 5/5, just because I feel like I have accomplished my goal of participating and being more positive.

(Still miss these old shorts ha)

Socials Responsibility and Contribution to the Class:
Again, from September I have blossomed from being an awkward girl who talked to 3 people in the class, to now being friends with a lot of people in our class. With that, that has really affected my presence in PE for many reasons. For one, I am usually very positive in PE, and I do encourage others as well as they encourage me. I have definitely improved with working with other people that I typically do not talk to. A good example is my blog post about “Lacrosse”, most of us were not too good, but I tried to motivate people on my team, even if we were losing and eventually the game became fun, because of the positive energy. I usually also help out with cleaning up little things like cones or balls after capture the flag and I try not to leave before the equipment is put away. With my fitness levels I am actually very honest, as you can see my scores are not typically high, but I don’t mind, because I have room to improve. I don’t like cheating with games, and to be honest I’d rather lose, because cheating and winning isn’t a real win. The one thing that I would say I could have done better in this year is leadership. I am usually better at following instructions, to make it easy for whoever is in charge. The buddy program taught me a lot about leading and I think I could still improve in that category, by being better with explaining things, taking initiative and making class even more fun for other people in other classes. The one thing I was really proud of was getting to play pickle ball with people from bases back in January. I took the chance, out of my comfort zone and decided to interact with new people.  Overall I think I’d give myself a 4/5, as I need to work on making things fun with people outside our class.

Healthy Living:
My goal up until now has been losing weight, from the beginning of the year. Over the years I have always tried to accomplish this goal, however I was never consistent with it. This year, my blog is proof of my consistency with healthy living. In a way I have a lot to improve upon this category as well, I definitely need to record my diet on here, and with my recent post about the app “fitbit” I can start doing that on an app. In my blog as you have read before I have been posting a lot about playing tennis, going for runs, and using my penny board. My running skills have really improved since September as I try to go on at least one run in a week. My goal for the summer is going on a run every other day. My goal of losing weight has been difficult, but I have at a slow and steady pace. My beep test scores keeping getting higher and hopefully by the final beep test I am at least a 6.0. My scores are actually pretty low compared to others, as I do not have the skill of speed like most people do. The beep test is definitely difficult for me, but I still like seeing how my scores go up throughout the year. Throughout the year I have grown to not hate running, in fact I actually like it, and running is a really good way to lose extra weight on your body, as well as you can pace yourself and I have learned to control my speed to go a longer distance. The blog post about the pond run, back in around December is a good example of that. My dietary choices have been harder to maintain, especially in February after my little operation of my wisdom teeth as I was living off ice cream for the past week. I have gotten better since then and my diet is also getting better, as I have been eating more fruits and veggies. I usually forget that my eating habits are also a huge part of healthy living, so I really could have added more dietary posts. This blog has actually been helping me and motivating me in life outside of PE class, because I like going out and being fit due to the fact that I get to blog about it. Overall I give myself a 4/5, as even though I have shown my fitness activities outside of school I really need to work on actually blogging about my dietary choices and my skill level improvements.

Digital Portfolio and Reflective Skills:
To be honest, my blog turned out a lot better than I thought, in October I didn’t fully understand the point of doing these blogs and I thought they were just annoying and a waste of time. My first post on October 2 was a few sentences long and I also only used to only post on fitness days, because I thought those were the only useful days of PE. I think after the Mid Term post is when I started to realize how this blog motivated me to be positive and work hard in PE. If you look back at my posts after the Mid Term, they don’t seem as forced and I start to post things outside of PE class, like how I run and play tennis and how I couldn’t do anything for a week due to my wisdom teeth.  My posts have become longer as well. Also I reflect a lot about how I feel mentally and physically in my posts and posts get more positive. My picture evidence also increased, and it’s pretty cool how much I have grown throughout the year. In total I have 48 posts including this final. The dates of my blog posts also aren’t like a week a part anymore, and my blogging has become very consistent. I feel like I have reflected on my future goals as someone even commented on my “fitness after 828282 years” blog post saying that I have. One of the things I learned about as I researched my goal of losing weight is to track down what you do and eat during the week and with that my sister helped me find the app “FitBit” which I have blogged about recently. I do have some pictures of myself in the weight room (me and Peyton on bikes working on our goal). I really need to work on dietary posts for next year, and I have many posts about fitness and games we played in class. Not only do I have in class blog posts, but I also have posts of me working out on my own or going out and being active with my family. Overall I think I have met the expectations of this digital portfolio and I’d give myself a 5/5, because I am really surprised and proud of how this blog turned out

The letter grade I think I deserve is an A, because of the amount of growth I have experienced with my physical skills and mental skills. I also believe I worked hard on this blog and have worked hard throughout the school year in P.E. 9.

quick little food blog post

I never remember to take a pic of what I eat, but I have been eating better these past few months. I try not to eat after 6pm unless it is fruits or water. I have been eating more fruits like Mango, oranges, watermelon, grapes, pears etc and I am really enjoying it. I've also been eating more veggies with my meals like mushrooms or broccoli and Ive cut down my rice to one cup. Next meal I will for sure take a picture of, but for now I only remembered to take a pic of dessert. Exams are coming up and I hope thay does not mess up my eating habits

The Hulk

I honestly did not know what to name this blog post, because so many things happened. As Alexis said in the previous blog of "Guest blog two" many people were hit by tennis balls. Today Katie, Gaby, Anusha, Madiosn, Alexis, Janelle and I went outside to play "badminton/tennis" i dont even know what we were doing. Little did we know the sun was gonna come out and get really hot. Nevertheless today was really fun, the heat was probably making us go crazy. I did work out some sweat because we had to keep running and getting the ball everytime someone hit too hard (me oops). The reason I am calling this post "The Hulk" is beause I could not control where I hit the ball. AND I REALLY DID HIT KATIE BY ACCIDENT. Anyways short little random blog post about our weird little game in the sun. We had the option of working on our final blog post, but I am half way through mine so I wanted to do something active. None of the choice activities sounded appealing so I am glad we found an alternative.

Guest blog two

Micah hit Katy with a tennis ball. By "accident". Alexis hit janelle and micah. Then everyone was hitting everyone woth the balls.

Last Buddy Day :(

The buddy program was an awesome expierience, because we got to learn how to be leaders. We taugh them a lot from throwing under hand to skipping and playing games that involved  physical skills and mental skills. I have learned a lot about my buddy. My buddy is still pretty shy, but she really has spoken more since I first met my buddy. This got me thinking about other people and how I could make it an awesome class for them. Today we talked about summer plans and what she did on the weekend. We also played hangman and tic tac toe (my buddy won all 4 times). Today I learned that she likes drawing and she thinks math is easy. It was really fun talking to her and Gaby even told our buddy some funny (lame) jokes. Even though she is considered to be a selective mute I think my buddy is really good at answering questions and talking. I think the one thing my buddy and I have in common is that we are both kind of awkward when it comes to meeting new people. It was nice having her, definatley was not a handful and listened very well. Buddies was a nice thing to do for PE because it's so different from what we usually do It taught me a lot about social skills as well, like how to try and carry on a conversation. Now I have an understanding of what being a leader is like and how your mood can change your buddys mood. The big idea I got out of this whole buddy program is that constantly being social with a little kid you hardly know is very difficult, but if you make it fun then your buddy will have fun too. Id love to this again next year.

Here is a link of a short little video and a pic of random stuff we did during the walk to Cambridge and the walk back.

FitBit

My sister just recently told me about this app called FitBit. It basically records how many steps you take in a day and you can have contests with your friends (who took the most steps in one week). You can also keep track of diet and calories burned. I think this is pretty cool, because it motivates you with the competition. Me and my siblings are going to see who can get the most steps this week. Ive also started recording the stuff I eat on this app to see what are some things I can improve on. The app also tells you how much water you need to drink in a day to be healthy (according to your weight and height). Another thing is you can record some healthy living goals you want to achieve in a certain amount of time. I think a lot of people would enjoy this app, it's a fun little compition between friends and family. And if you lose one week. Redeem yourself the next.

Odd capture the Flag Game (late publish from Wednesday)

Today was a funny PE day. It was very eventful. We had choice today between a bunch of sports I don't remember, but I chose to play capture the flag. I wanted to go out and run so I knew capture the flag would be a good choice. The team I was on won 2 games and by the third game we ran out of time. Our defence was pretty sick, with The Formatiom X  thing. Peyton, Gaby (grade 10 and 9) Shiho,Yulia, Madison and some other people were all defence. I loved how during this capture the flag game everyone was so into it. I felt sick in the beginning that day, and I wasn't as energized, but all that positive energy really got me going in the end. This really shows how much people can influence you during times like that. I was pretty tired by the end of it, and it was suprisingly fun. I usually like it better when it is just our class, because I'm comfortable with everyone, but today was really fun. I liked working with new people. Capture the flag is usually a game where you can slack off and just stand around with friends, but I don't think I saw anyone do that, everyone seemed to have their mind set on winning today.

BUDDIES (Late publish)

During buddies we played a modified version of base ball with tennis rackets and tennis balls. At first my group was a bit confused on the rules so it took us a while to start. I learned to ask more questions if I dont know how to do something, because if I'm confused my buddy will be too. Todays buddy class wasn't our best day, a lot of people including myself were out of it, maybe because some were tired from dance and also the confusion didnt help out situation. Once my Alexis, Gaby, Rhiann and I finally understood the rules the rest of the class went by smoothly. Although for a lot of us it wasn't our most energetic day, I learned to suck it up and just make sure my buddy succedded as best as she could and that she actually learned from me. My buddy has trouble throwing the ball, and I explained to her how to throw underhand. Even though our group had a hard time hitting the ball I tried to encourage them and just making them smile if they made a small mistake. They seemed to really like aiming at my face, because once I put my face as the target they hit and threw better. What I learned was that the little buddies were really good at running, what I like about my buddy is that she doesn't look like she gets frustrated, because she just tries again until she gets it. I know I would definatley be annoyed at myself. As they learn a lot from us I also learn a lot from them. They laugh when I laugh and my mood affects theirs. This game envolved a combination of all the things we have taught our buddies. Working as a team, throwing, aiming etc. My buddy can get really quiet which means the team work of throwing and catching the ball to each other was a bit challenging for her. Neverthless other than a few flaws in the beginning of class, I think my energy wasn't too bad but I also couldve improved.

L A C R O S S E

Today in PE we played Lacrosse. The making of teams was hectic, but Miguel and Chris eventually got everyone together which was awesome for them. It really did look frustrating for them and being a leader is really hard. As for me I am more of a follow and listen type of person, so that is what I did and tried my best to keep quiet and not talk to my friends. This class has taught me a lot about leadership, and supporting one another and I'm going to need all that for next year, as my PE class may not be with all my friends. I have never played Lacrosse before in my entire life, so yes it was a bit of a challenge. The poeple on my team were actually people I dont usually interact with so it was a nice expierience working with Palvi, Joel, John, Nathan and Rhiann. I feel like this was one of my good days. Even if this whole game was new to me, I made the most out of it. The amount of times that I almost got a point as the ball just bounced out of the stick was annoying. Nevertheless, it was still a fun game even though we never actually got a point.  Anyways, as I right this blog, I am extrmley tired after all that running around in the heat. Summer come at me.

Park Day with the Family

So today my whole family was off and after church they wanted to take a nap. Instead, I forced them to go outside and spend the rest of the day at the park. I played tennis with my brother and we had so much fun, I've really improved and now we can rally properly and play real games. People were waiting for the tennis court after our time was up so we went on the field to play badminton. I did a few laps with my penny board and then my brother and I did this is mini fitness activity. Basically we tossed a tennis ball around and whoever dropped it would have to do a fitness activity (a lap, push ups, squats etc). By the ene of the day I was so tired and sweaty, my body is sore but it was worth it. We were there for 2 hours taking one break in between. PE this year has really got me into being active and forcing my family to be active with me. YAY more of this in the summer and I think I'll continue to blog.

VERY LATE PARENT BLOG POST (better late than never)

1) Have you read your son/daughters blog? Yes.
Was there anything that surprised you or stood out immediately? That they are doing a lot of physical activities compared to last year. It is definitely good for their health. And she is having fun.
What was your favourite part about reading his/her reflections? The pure excitement she has as Micah narrates her joy and happiness in these wholesome exercises. I like how she is truthful as well.
What did you learn about your son/daughter that you didn't know before reading the blog?  What part of your child's growth/personality has been reaffirmed for you? That she is actively participating in PE and actually enjoying it at the same time. That she has a positive outlook in life despite her limitations in this very athletic environment.

If you were evaluating him/her on his/her blogging efforts, what would you say?  What would you give him/her out of 25? 23
How did you come up with that number? Because I enjoy reading her blogs and she has lots of fun doing it.

 HEALTHY LIVING:

2) What do you notice about your child's health choices outside of school? She is conscious of her own health.
What activity and or diet choices does s/he make on their own? Playing tennis with her old man and not eating after 6:00 p.m. besides fruits
What exercise/eating choices are encouraged by the family/household? Tennis, Long-boarding, threadmill and biking. Control intake of fats and carbohydrates.
Did you see any evidence of this in his/her blog? Yes, she blogged about playing Tennis and going out for runs
What is missing that should be included? A daily schedule of physical activities that must be religiously followed and also more about her diet
What improvements do you think your child could/should make to further his/her understanding and participation in his/her own health? She should set a reachable goal aim at lowering her weights.
What things can you as parent do to push this learning/practice? By watching over them and doing those activities with them.
If you were to evaluate your son/daughter on their progress towards personal healthy life choices what would you say? Needs some improvements, but overall is pretty well done.
What mark would you give them out of 25 for his/her efforts and demonstration of those efforts in the blog? 22
How did you come up with that number? She needs to be consistent, But I am very pleased that they are aware of their own health. I thank the school for encouraging the students in physical education.

Capture the Flag - 9 wins !

Another successful PE class. I'm really sad that the school year is coming to an end bc P.E. with this class has been so fun. Anyways, today we played the "divergent" capture the flag. It was really intense, especially when there were 9 of us against Palvi but for some reason it was still really scary to try to get past her. Gaby Peyton and I took like 10 minites trying to get to the other side without any of the 10's seeing us. Eventually we got in to see that there were already like 6 of us on the offense side. We used our numbers as an afdvantabe against the 10 s and conquered the flag !!! I really worked up a sweat with all that sneaking around and sprinting away from the 10's. Also i give the 10's credit bc they have less people so it was a good game. Having fun and working out days like this are the best PE classes.

Sore all over

In Pe we did BOOT CAMP. It wasn't that bad, I do prefer runninng, because I feel like I do more when I run. Oddly enough my favorite work out was over and back, because I didn't think Id actually go over and back that many times. I really want to work on the star planks, that was definitely the hardest activity. Despite the fact that this wasn't my favorite PE avtivity I still tried hard. I know I tried hard because I'm really sore and I didnt smell too great. I do wish that I couldve gotten better test scores, because I know for sure I can improve by June. I think we should do boot camp as out Pe testing, it seems for affective than the usual testings we have in the gym.

I swear my face in PE selfies always look like I'm so uncomfortable + my scores for all the activities.

Man Hunt

Today I played Man Hunt with my friends outside of Sulli and the amount of running I had to do was insane. I felt like I did fitness. But yeah I'm happy I got to do some physical activities. Other than Man Hunt we played volleyball, capture the flag and passed a frisbee around. Id post a picture but I dont know if I'm allowed to post pics of people outside of our PE class.

Here is the aftermath of all that running

My legs hurt

Wow we haven't done hardcore fitness in a while. I can't say I miss it a whole lot, that feeling when you can't breathe isn't fun. But I know it's good for me especially since fitness is probably the one hardcore workout I ever do in a week. Sure I run sometimes but it's not the same as this. Today was tiring and even if Neuf didn't give us a pep talk before hand I think most of us were used to always hearing that we should work hard for ourseleves. I think I got so used to that, that's what I do in Pe. I work and try my hardest for myself, not even for my grade. It was hard today especially the planks. I couldnt even hold up the second round plank. I really need to work on upper body strength because I have zero. The run was a usual pain, but I don't mind it as much. I think I worked pretty hard today, at the end of the workout I really needed a shower so that's a good sign. By the end of it I was really sweaty and gross. Aaliyah and Gaby look cute and then there is me....

Dance Week from a billion years ago

I totally forgot to publish Dance week.

Anyways I think my favorite day was Bhangra, because it was really fun especially with both the band classes. I think Bhangra was the one dance that I didn't do horribly on. It was also kind if tiring. I'm not really a dancer but I actually really enjoyed doing Bhangra. Jazz was just so confusing, but laughing at myself helped. Honestly, I don't prefer dance week because I'm really bad with my feet. So yes I think anyone who can dance without falling is crazy talented. I think it's awesome how they let students teach us all the dances. Sulli has some very talented people

ROCK PAPER SCISSORS

Late publish:

Another successful buddy day! Today we played rock paper scissors with our buddies. We taught them how to use their body and brain at the same time. They had to think of either rock paper or scissors and also shape their body to either a rock paper or scissors. Gaby and I's buddy had trouble keeping up with jumping jacks and usually replied later than the other kids. We found it helpful to talk to her about what she was going to pick before they started, so she couldn't change her answer. I noticed a lot of the buddies liked to pick rock, but also some of them strategized as well. I think this was a smart idea to incorporate an easy game everyone knows and add actions. It helps them use more of their brain.  I'm excited for the next buddy session!

Fitness after 828282 years

My title is a bit exaggerated, but anyways wow I feel like we haven't done fitness in so long with buddies and days off on Fridays. The relay was really fun, I think I'm better at long distance than sprinting though to be honest. I liked doing those relays, it was different. Do you know how I can improve on speed? because I'm actually pretty slow at running. My legs weren't as sore as they usually are after I stop fitness for a while. I think it's because I go out more play tennis and go out for runs occasionally. I'll definitely keep that up in the summer.

Passing a tennis ball with buddies

On tuesday we were working on throwing with one hand and steping forward with the opposite foot at the same time. My little buddy sometimes got it, but other times didnt. She was pretty good at catching the ball. I noticed a lot of the little buddies really liked throwing it as far as possible and with the technique we taught them they leanred to control their throws. My little buddy had a hard time during the golf game, but at the very end she finally got it. It was funny because I think Gaby and I were more excited than she was. It's cool to see how some of them get it really quick and other don't, I'm excited for the next buddy class.

Tennis

So after school I decided to go out and penny board/ play tennis, because no homework (woohoo). Anyways, I finally played tennis after so many years of leaving my racket in the closet. I used to play a lot with my dad (hes old now). Today we played and I forgot how much I loved the sport. My dad is old but he is still really good, I definatley ran a lot today, reaching for the ball with my racket. Well after an hour of playing my wrist was a bit sore and also my arms. Also I was really tired/hot at the end because I was in the Sun. I wish Pe had some sort of tennis unit, that'd pretty cool.

LITTLE BUDDIES

I thought I published this post anyways this is from the day we had buddies

my little buddy wasnt here today BUT I shared a buddy with Peyton and she was awesome and really smart for her age. Peyton kept bragging about he buddy bc she was so proud. We taught them how to jump and hop on two feet from side to side. I realized they always go really fast so they cant always stop properly in a squat form. For the most part it was really fun seeing how some of them got the hops quickly and others didnt. Im excited for our next buddy class !

I got attacked by the demon duck

Well, todays PE class was very eventful. I had a lot of fun playing that chariot game, and I think our little buddies will like it as well. Other than the fact that my favorite pair of gym shorts now make me look like I was in a fight and are very ripped I had a good time. We really need to work on communication with that game and I think my team did pretty well. It's definatley something I would play again.
BUT PLEASE OPEN THE GATE NEXT TIME xD.

I RAN FOR FUN ?!

Neuf are you proud of me? Haha I forced myself out bed and retired from Netflix and decided to go out for a run! I'm actually proud of myself, is that bad? Oh well.. anyways, I ran around the neighbourhood for about 45 minutes and then did a 15 minute speed walk. I'd be lying if I said I ran 45 minutes straight, but for the most part I tried to pace myself. Running actually puts me in a better mood, I'm gonna try to make it a weekly thing for now. Sprinnggg Breeaakkk is greaattt :)

Some picture proof see. Ignore my horid selfie, it's just gross proof at how sweaty I got.

BBW

Wow I haven't had that much fun in P.E. In a while the whole class was on fire and everyone was working together. Okay so the BBW'S lost minor set back BUT I'm so ready to play "football" with the day 1 class... Hmm I don't think they can beat the wild cats/BBW'S. But really that was one of the high lights of the year, it was tiring but at the same time really fun and I'd love to play that game again. Honestly one the best loss's Ive ever had, everyone being positive after the game made everything 100x better.

Buddies

I missed the first buddies session, because of my wisdom teeth, so the buddies we had on Monday was my first time. It was nice going back to Cambridge and see the old secretary. Anyways Gaby and I have a really shy buddy and it's hard to comminicate, but she does talk to us, which I'm thankful for, because that makes it easier. I knew the fruit name game would be hard for her, but she really did try her best and I thought that it was really cool she tried to project her voice even though she's really shy. The kids caught on a lot quicker than I expected. It was a nice experience and realizing how different gym was for them and us. They were so energetic I don't even remember being that hyper in grade 1

Sick of Ice Cream

That ice pack was my best friend. This post is long over due, from last week. I think this whole wisdom teeth thing made me officially hate ice cream..which could be good since it's not good for me anyways. Also, I'm blogging about this now because this is what I had to live off of for the past week.  Gums still sore, and I still can't play my saxophone :(. BUT ILL BE READY TO DO FITNESS AND P.E. THIS WEEK YAY!

BLACK SHOE?!

Well, first of all I've been resting this whole week, due to my wisdom teeth which are slowly healing up. I'll be up and ready for P.E. next week. Now, you're going to go through many blogs with the title black shoe, because Janelle started an intense black shoe battle before speed ball. I heard people betting on Sophie, but Gaby won. We are a weird class...

Mid Term

1. During P.E. this year I've brought my gym strip for most of the year so far, and continue to keep up with that. I try to have a positive attitude , even if some of the activities we do aren't my favorites. Recently, one of the best days was when I tried my hardest was during choice. Truthfully speaking I don't do much on choice days. However our recent choice day when we played badminton, was probably the most I've really participated and put in my best effort. Just like many people I struggle with certain fitness days, I can improve on a lot with my fitness scores. Instead of giving my best efforts on good days, I should try to keep it positive on all days. I think I struggle with my consistency towards how hard I try on certain days.

2. During days where it's just our class playing a game together, and you choose some 10's to lead, I usually listen as best as I can. I understand how hard it is to deal with almost 30 kids, so I usually try my best to be quiet and let them instruct us. I wish I could say I contribute more to the class, but all I really do is follow instructions. Overall, this class is great, everyone has something a little special that they give to the class, even if it's as small as just listening to instructions like me. Also, I try to stay positive, especially during fitness, because it does get had keeping the positive vibes during those days. Comparing myself from last year, I'm not as shy when it comes to new people. This year, I've made a lot of new friends over this class. When I interact with people in this class, I always try my best to encourage them, especially during fitness. I do that, because I too like it when people encourage me.

3. My participation during fitness days, have been getting better in my opinion. I'm not as grumpy or scared of fitness than I was in September, because I know fitness days build me up. Yes, I try hard to participate and do my best during all fitness days, but of course I have failed on some. Pushing myself, is hard, but I try to think of mind over matter. One of the fitness days I still remember was the one of the pond run. That day, I didn't cheat, I made sure to push myself and run the whole way and it was one of the best P.E. days. The fitness activities I enjoy the most, are oddly enough the ones with running. I'm no Gaby when it comes to running, but when I accomplish running the whole way, it makes me happy and I enjoy gym. My fitness goals for this year are to lose weight, it's extremely difficult though.  Eating healthy is a big goal as well, and has been my goal for a long time now. Hopefully, by the time June appears, I will achieved my goals.

4. In my opinion I think when someone has leadership, they know how to interact with everyone whether shy or not. People who have leadership think a lot about the majority of the class or group. Some of the best leaders in our class are Palvi and Simran. They both bring  positive energy and talk to everyone in the class. Myself, being in grade 9 was scared of the 10's but they helped me get to know some of the other 10's. Hopefully, one day I'll turn into a leader like them.

5. Some improvements in P.E. that I would make is to learn and help set up  games during choice. Also, I'm still improving on my attitude during fitness days and being consistent with my positive attitude. Not only improving my mind set, I want to improve my fitness scores slowly, but efficiently. Like I mentioned before I'm proud of my pond run accomplishment. Also the relay with our class was a great day. I didn't stop running and whenever I realized that I run the whole way it makes me feel proud for once.

Overall I think I should get a: B.  I know there is still a lot I can improve on to get the A In the future.

BADMINTON

Yesterday in P.e was incredibly fun for a choice day. Alexis and I were partners and we played against Madison and Sophie towards the end. We had a rally with two birdies which was so tiring, it got me really hot. Also even though I felt pretty sweaty that was the best choice day for me. I really like playing badminton, it's one of the sports I'm not terrible at.

*insert pre Pe selfie with Peyton.* (she wouldn't let me post our selfie cuz she wanted to)

POKER

Ahh I almost for got to post this all weekend while it sat in my notes.

Today we played poker. Not the card game. We had to do activities like sit ups and push ups before we got the card. The first few rounds we didn't get anything, but on the last round we got 5 5's and we won. Yay! My stomach was sore after all those push ups, but still this fitness day was one of my favorites.

Insanity

The fitness work out we did on Friday was so hard. Especially after having winter break and not being used to doing fitness again. My legs are still sore along with my arms, but then again no pain no gain right? At one point in Insanity I had to modify a lot of it, because of how hard some of the work outs were. All in all, I kind of miss feeling that adrenaline from fitness.

Pickle Ball with new people

Today in P.E. we played Pickle Ball, it was the first time I'd played that game before and I enjoyed it.  My partner was one of the bases kids and he was really cool. He was better than me and got lots of points. My cousin is similar to him and I like interacting with both of them. I started off being partners with Peyton, but she gave me the idea of having a different partner.  I'm thankful I got to expierence someone new and I hope to meet more new people.
